I. Position Purpose/Scope:
Develops leading edge technologies and know-how from Industry, partner companies, local universities and internal partners into automotive concepts, then into BMW project development and Integration processes. Identifies emerging technologies in order to build software and/or hardware prototypes and production ready solutions. Areas of focus include but not limited to Vehicle IT, Mobility, Social Networks, web and other enabling technologies. Serves as a technical expert and consultant to other engineers and developers. Has the ability to manage medium-scale enterprise-wide projects according to BMW standard ITPM methodology.
II. Position Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
o Manages the visualization and realization of future technologies which will support the complete process from development of concepts and vision to full production ready solutions which can be integrated rapidly into the automotive environment.
o Investigates and evaluates emerging technologies to envision how they can be used to develop new strategic directions and competitive advantage for BMW Group as needed.
o Demonstrates extremely high technical capabilities in software and hardware development for emerging technologies.
o Develops strategic and tactical awareness and planning of technology and resources necessary for successful completion of small and medium-scale projects.
o Serves as a primary point of contact for other engineers and specialists in the team to provide expert knowledge and troubleshooting skills.
o Serves as internal consultant to other developers and engineers as needed, providing assistance in all phases of product life-cycle development.
o Mentors developers and engineers on latest technologies and techniques. Assists the team in process matters as related to systems development/support. Provides the necessary on the job training and development of associates/contractors within the team.
o Plans, analyzes, designs (including functional design), and defines requirements, tests and implements solutions according to ITPM standards.
o Simultaneously manages multiple small to medium sized project teams, (including budgets) according to BMW standard ITPM, ECC or other project management methodologies.
o Clearly and proactively communicates project plans, milestones and current status to Project Sponsor, Manager and Project Manager.
o Maintains accurate, meaningful and updated technical and non-technical documentation pertaining to all aspects of area(s) of responsibility.
o Analyzes business critical processes, evaluates and recommends improvements.
o Measures performance of delivered services through set of agreed metrics. Manages appropriate action to make corrections so that all services agreements are met.
o Performs cost analysis for systems and determines most cost effective way to solve business issues as related to systems development .
o Manages medium -scale enterprise-wide projects
Performs other duties as assigned by BMWMC operations supervisor.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
