We are hiring a Commercial Construction Project Manager to oversee a variety of projects involved in obtaining and maintaining business accounts.
The successful candidate will effectively manage teams to meet project deadlines, be organized and punctual, and have experience in dealing with clients, staff and vendors.

Summary:
Management of the day to day operations of assigned projects to ensure the effective and efficient delivery of materials, equipment, labor, and subcontractors during the installation phase of the project while helping to meeting or exceeding the customer's and the company's objectives relative to cost, schedule, quality, and safety.
Specific Duties/Expectations:
o Develop a preliminary project schedule and submit to customer and/or project managers for input into an overall project schedule for the project.
Help to establish anticipated manpower requirements for the project and communicate such to management for manpower planning and recruiting purposes.
o Work with vendors to procure all prime and rough material for project along with any subcontractors and leased equipment required to support the work.
o Ensure all material, equipment, and manpower arrive at job in such time to maximize our productivity performance during construction.
o On design/build projects, aid the prime project manager(s) with the direction, review, and approval of relative system designs, costing, and changes o Plan and direct the installation, testing, operation, maintenance, and repair of facilities and equipment that is required by contract.
o Preparation of budgets, support bid activities, and assist with contract negotiations activities with customer.
Leading all negotiation activities with subcontractors in the development of subcontract agreements for the subject work.

Salary Range:
$72,000 to $90,000 annuallyRequirements:
o Minimum of high school degree or equivalent with preference toward individuals with college/technical school training and degrees.
o Minimum 5 years' experience of on the job training in other industry/trade roles that support the management of field operations.
o Must understand basic business practices regarding contract and costing o Must have a basic understanding of the sales process in the industry.
o Previous commercial or mechanical construction or engineering background is a plusCompensation details:
