1st Shift:
40 hours per week
Shift:
Typical shift hours are 8 AM until 5 PM Monday-Friday 1 hour for lunch
Contract:
W2 Contract with no end date, long term and ongoing.
The position would be working for HKA at the Greer, SC location.
PTO, holiday, and sick pay are offered.


Must Have:

Strong Attention to Detail
MS Excel (Pivot Tables, V LookUp, Formulas, Charts and Graphs)
SAP Software Experience.

Nice to Have:

Financial, audit, or environmental experience.
Position Scope:

Supports plant production waste disposal and recycling activities in accordance with policies and legal requirements. Collaborates and supports Waste Team and Waste Service Provider (WSP) with administrative and contract oversight/compliance topics for Plant Spartanburg, and the new Energy Module Production Facility.

Position
Responsibilities:

Supports the creation and tracking of waste management related processes, strategies, and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), by using corporate standard concepts.
Provides cost transparency for waste management-related contract activities that may include recycling rebates, Waste Service Provider (WSP) billing and invoice information, transportation, repairs, leases, or rentals.
Supports with providing departmental budget forecasts, accruals, budget compliance, and target tracking.
Actively participates in projects associated within assigned areas of responsibility, including periodic regulatory, internal, and external audit.
Ensures on-time validation of service provider invoices/work orders and payment through systems.
Creates purchase requisitions for approved goods/services to support waste logistics management.
Ensures timely compliance and resolution of workflow notifications.
Ensures planning for regulated materials management meets all applicable regulatory requirements.
Supports development and creation of regular status reports and indicators to measure assigned work activity including service provider performance management.
Supports Waste and Environmental projects and activities including audits ensuring all issues are closed / addressed in a timely manner.
Understands and models VPS (Value Added Production System) Principles and concepts of Standard Work and Problem Solving.
Adheres to 5S and Safety Standards and Principles.
Performs other duties as assigned by the operations supervisor.

Education:

BA/BS degree or equivalent of 4 years of related experience in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.


Experience:

years of experience in logistics, business administration, Finance or Accounting.
Intermediate = knowledge of environmental management in areas such as air, wastewater, solid & hazardous
waste, toxic chemical management and regulations.
Intermediate = Ability to work effectively in teams
Advanced = logistics skills (i.e. develops mid to long term strategies, for the entire supply chain; supply method evaluation and analysis; develops emergency concepts; develops methods and standards)
Advanced = computer skills including MS Office applications
Advanced = German language skills both oral and written (preferred but not required)
