- Leads the quality problem solving process for series parts quality supplier non-conforming material. Ensures and assess the acceptance of supplied parts quality to BMW group standards and specifications to the end customer(s) satisfaction and production capability. Supports the analysis and ensures robust containment of Non Conforming Material (Parts that do not meet specifications. Provides systematic control of key series elements using RMT (Risk Management of Parts) for all released parts (series). Review of APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning), Process series and ISIR (Initial Sample Inspection Report) to ensure acceptance from PEP QMT. Ensures robust corrective actions are introduced at the supplier and manage supplier corrective actions / agreed supplier changes. Ensures problems are fixed effectively and do not re-occur. Visits and assesses supplier processes to include requalification audits of suppliers. Ensures supplier is capable of meeting production targets and quality standards. Prepares and reviews supplier performance KPI's. Ensures monitoring of supplier standards and effective improvement activities take place. Validates and grades supplier 8D's in support of the QSB's 8D request.
Qualifications:
Experience with exterior trim / hang on parts (automotive experience)
Experience with Interior Automotive Parts, Trim, Electrical, Control Modules, in automotive preferred. To include Component Assembly, Problem Analsyis, and and other manufacturing processes for interior trim and electrical auotmotive parts. Responsible for assuring the parts from their group of suppliers are in compliance with BMW. Travel required both international and domestic. Rotating Saturday (1 every 6-7 weeks) Required.
Responsibilities:
Supplier quality management. 8Ds/5 Whys - ability to grade an 8D. Proficient in Excel / Powerpoint / Outlook in order to present data to management from both BMW and Supplier.
I. Position Purpose/Scope:
Coordinates and manages supplier quality issues for Plant Spartanburg's purchased parts (worldwide) focusing on series parts quality-relevant activities to ensure supplier's tooling, methods and processes can deliver parts to the correct quality and quantity to defined timescales.
II. Position Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

Responsible LV for all RK1 / RK2 PQM issues that fall within escalation level 0 until status 100. Responsible for the communication and handshake process to the M-KIFA.
Responsible for the entry / removal of supplier escalation Level 0, as well as ensuring adequate de-escalation criteria is entered.
Supports schale 3 working structure - Process Chain Representative per M-KIFA assignment.
Acceptance of Handshake of New Model Introductions - e.g. involvement in pruefcubing.
Supports the series quality team in ensuring robust containments / corrective actions are implemented at the supplier base including (but not limited to) activities such as: risk assessment, product and process development.
Leads series projects after hand over from PEP QMT ensuring compliance with BMW specifications is maintained.
Communicates with other BMW Plants in the worldwide BMW Network including joint problem solving.
Develops existing supplier's quality and production systems to maintain production.
Executes product and process audits due to occurred errors and initiates counter actions and counteraction with verification.
Leads quality problem solving process for supplier related issues.
Audits the quality management system at the supplier location(s).
Performs other duties as assigned by BMW Operations Supervisor.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
