Responsibilities:
Supports the Quality Audit Group, Materials Group and the Process Planning/New Model Group within the Paint Department. Performs Process and TPM Audits, supports VPS activities, assisting with the verification of corrective actions for all of the systems used within the paint shop. Maintains Internal Product Audit System.
o Implements the Paint Department BMW Business Model (MPM) targets and systems.
o Supports the Paint Department corrective & preventive action systems.
o Supports product audit systems for the Paint Department.
o Performs process audits in all Paint Shop areas.
o Performs TPM audits in all Paint Shop areas.
o Supports defect analysis team.
o Supports VPS activities as needed.
o Support of Quality Audit Group
o Liaison for product audit associates with the production management team.
o Support of issue resolution with audit discrepancies
o Conduct process audit activities on B-shift
o Quality management review meeting preparation.
o Support production management team with C/A process and verification.
o Communication of quality related items from external sources.
o Support of Materials Group
o In-line paint checker operation.
o End of line measurement cell operation.
o Data entry and support with monthly emissions reporting
o New material trials.
o Liaison for Paint Mix associates with B-shift production management team.
o Support of Process Planning Group
o Communication of information to the relevant production teams.
o Attends weekly Process Planning info meeting.
o Support of trials as needed.
o Liaison between Production Management Team and the Process Planners for items addressed on B-shift.
Performs other duties as assigned by BMW operations supervisorEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
