Position Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
Planning, implementation, and operation of all Data centers and equipment rooms within the Americas including capacity and efficiency management of all data center components.
Ensures system availability and redundancy for all critical systems hosted within the data centers by interfacing with a significant and varied number of process partners including facilities, network, server, and storage engineers.
Works closely within the global network of Data Center Managers and ensures, standards, operations processes and procedures are aligned and follow the directions of function Data Center Management. Ensures overall adherence to the BMW Group Strategy.
Establishes and maintains technical security architecture, availability, overall performance and maintenance activities.
Provides infrastructure, tools, and training to manage data center access control and implements secure systems that meet or exceed BMW-defined standards.
Responsible for planning and implementation of large scale technical continuity tests involving multiple business units.
Provides technical direction to ensure service delivery and complete customer satisfaction.
Runs complex projects ensuring they are completed on time and within budget with direction from management.
Serves as an IT project manager for small-medium sized projects overseeing resources assigned, conduct status meetings, and effectively communicates the project status to stakeholders as delegated by the BMW Department Manager(Information Technology).
Develops project plans, administers the change control process and ensures that tasks are completed on time and within budget.
Develops reports to ensure SLAs are met and all processes are followed.
Manages all ITIL processes and tools as they related to data center management such as change, incident, and configuration management.
Participates in BMW Group IT projects.
Provides and maintains documentation of all installed solutions for data center operations in the Americas.
Recommends and facilitates quality improvement efforts. Stays up to date on future innovations, technical trends and applies this to direct future changes. Has knowledge of the solutions available as well as best practices for the business processes.
Provides all local support for Data Center Management including coordination of small and large scale changes with the appropriate operations groups and business groups.
Completes budget, capacity and investment planning, and long range planning for the all Data Center and Equipment Room infrastructure in the Americas.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
